چکیده

Pancreatic pseudocysts (PPs) are collections of pancreatic secretions that lined by fibrous tissues and may contain necrotic debris or blood. The interventions including percutaneous, endoscopic surgical approaches based on the size, location, symptoms complications a pseudocyst. With availability advanced imaging systems cameras, better hemostatic equipment’s excellent laparoscopic techniques, most can be found managed laparoscopy. We describe case 24-year-old male patient with pseudocyst amenable to cystogastrostomy. An incision was made through anterior gastric wall expose posterior in close contact using spinal needle aspiration guidance. Then, another for cystogastrostomy obtain complete unobstructed drainage. recovered well after operation, suggesting is safe effective alternative open minimally invasive management pancreas.

Laparoscopic Cystogastrostomy for the Management of Pancreatic Pseudocysts*

Results: From February 2001 to November 2006, seven patients were included into the study. The etiology of pancreatitis was gallstone disease in six cases and hyperlipidemia in one. The mean age was 58.7 years (5269) and the mean pseudocyst size was 15.1 cm (7-20). Transgastric cystogastrostomy and posterior cystogastrostomy were carried out in three and four patients, respectively, with no con...

Laparoscopic Cystogastrostomy for Pancreatic Pseudocyst: A Case Report

A 49-year-old man with a history of acute pancreatitis was hospitalized with a diagnosis of pancreatic pseudocyst. Ultrasonography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging all demonstrated a homogeneous cyst, 9 x 4 cm in size, at the tail of the pancreas without mural nodules or septa. Because an intestinal structure was identified between the cyst and stomach preoperatively by comp...

Endoscopic cystogastrostomy during pregnancy.

Pancreatic pseudocysts occur as a consequence of acute and chronic pancreatitis or abdominal and surgical trauma. The poorly localized fluid collections of acute pancreatitis can heal spontaneously but in about 10% of cases a pseudocyst will develop.1 In these cases, an initial 4to 6-week period of observation is justified in anticipation of spontaneous resolution or development of a mature wal...

Pancreatic pseudocyst: combined single incision laparoscopic cystogastrostomy and cholecystectomy in a resource poor setting

Laparoscopic cystogastrostomy is a well-accepted minimally invasive modality to treat pancreatic pseudocysts. There has been one prior report of cystogastrostomy via single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) in which specialized instrumentation and access platforms were used.We report the challenges encountered in a low resource setting with the SILS approach to drainage using only standard l...

Laparoscopic Gastroscopic Transgastric Cystogastrostomy and Cholecystectomy for Pseudopancreatic Cyst after Gallstone Pancreatitis in Children

A 15-year-old girl presented with gallstone pancreatitis. Subsequently, a pseudopancreatic cyst developed that was diagnosed on computed tomographic scan. She underwent a laparoscopic and gastroscopic transgastric cystogastrostomy. In the following report, we describe our novel approach and technique for the above condition.
